Travel to Umrah in the Spring of 2019 by booking an affordable, senior friendly phenomenal trip with Masjid Muhammad, The Nation's Mosque and Study Al-Islam. Your trip begins in Medina, where you’ll spend three nights at 5-star hotel only steps away from Al-Masjid an-Nabawi. You will enjoy the tranquility of Medina as you perform the Friday Jumah prayer. Our experienced guides will lead us on a tour of all the major religious and historical sites in Medina. After three nights in Medina, we will travel to Mecca by bus to perform Umrah. Once you arrive in Mecca, your 5-star hotel stay for three nights will be located near The Great Mosque of Mecca, Al-Haram Mosque. Again, our professional, experienced guide will lead us on a tour of all the major religious and historical sites in Mecca. After a total of six spiritually fulfilling nights in Medina and Mecca we will travel to the airport in Jeddah, and fly to Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, which dates back to the time of the pharaohs. When we arrive at the airport, we will be received by our professional and experienced tour guide who will takes us to all the major religious and historical sites in Cairo, and after three exciting evenings, we will return on a flight home.

Day 1: Medina Arrival

A representative will welcome you to Medina, transport you to your hotel which is just a few steps from the entrance of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, and help you check-in.
You will have some free time to rest before you have the exciting opportunity to pray in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and give your ‘salaam’ to the Prophet (May the Peace & Blessings be upon him).

Day 2: Masjid Al Nabawi

Enjoy a buffet breakfast and then walk around and feel the tranquility of Medina, The City of Lights. You will have the opportunity to offer the five daily prayers in Al-Masjid an-Nabawi and do any of the following at your leisure:
• Enter the blessed Masjid of our beloved Prophet and make your personal dua’s (May Peace and Blessings be Showered Upon Him), access The Rawdah (Riaz Ul-Jannah), the place where our beloved Prophet (PBUH) called a part of Jannah, and give your salaams to our beloved Prophet (PBUH), Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him) and Omar Bin-Khattab (May Allah be pleased with him)
• Visit Al-Baqi, the resting places of the family of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and his beloved Companions (May Allah be pleased with them)

Day 3: Medina Al Munawwarah

Enjoy a buffet breakfast, a representative will provide a guided tour of the religious and historical sites in Medina on board a air-conditioned bus. You will visit the following locations:
• The mountain of ‘Uhud where the battle of ‘Uhud took place including the cemetery where the Shohada of ‘Uhud are buried, including Hamza (May Allah be pleased with him), the uncle of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him)
• Masjid Al-Quba, the first masjid in Islam and was built by the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) and his closest companions (May Allah be pleased with them)
• Masjid Al-Qiblatain, the distinction of being the only masjid where obligatory congregational prayer was held facing both the old Qibla (Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem) and the present Qibla (Masjid Al-Haram in Mecca) in the same prayer
• The area known as Saba Masajids representing the places where the believers camped during the battle of the Trench.  This includes the campsite of the Prophet (PBUH) known as Masjid Al-Fath and that of Salman Al-Farsi (May Allah be pleased with him) whose idea it was to dig a trench wide and long and wide enough to confound the enemy who were not expecting it

Day 4: Depart for Mecca

Enjoy a buffet breakfast and then the group will leave Medina for Mecca. On the way, you will stop at the Meeqat at Dhul Hulaifa (also known as Abyaar Ali) where you will enter into the state of Ihraam with the intention to perform Umrah.
Upon arrival in Mecca, you will first check in at your hotel and then you will proceed to Masjid Al-Haram to perform Umrah.

Day 5: Mecca Al Mukarramah

Enjoy a buffet breakfast and in your own time, experience the magnificence & vibrant energy of Mecca, The Honored City. With the special convenience of your hotel located within close walking distance to Masjid Al-Haram, you have the following unique opportunities:
• Making the five daily prayers in Masjid Al-Haram
• Performing Tawaaf, the only special form of prayer unique only to Masjid Al-Haram
• Performing additional Umrahs
• Unlimited access to the blessed, cool and refreshing Zam Zam water

Day 6: Mecca Al Mukarramah

Enjoy a buffet breakfast and then your off with a tour guide who will take you to all the major religious and historical sites in Mecca aboard an air-conditioned bus, where you will visit the following places:
• Cave of Thaur, where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) hid for a few days at the beginning of the migration to Medina
• Mena, Arafaat and Muzdalifah.  In Arafaat, you will have the opportunity to see Jabal Al Rahmah
• Jabal Al-Noor, on top of which is located the cave of Hira, where the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) received his first revelation
• Al-Mualla cemetery where Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) is reportedly buried along with many of the companions (May Allah be pleased with them)
• The birthplace of the Prophet (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him)

Day 7: Welcome to Cairo

  • • Welcome to Cairo, Africa’s largest capital city. A tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo international airport and will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel our tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 8: Cairo

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. Afterwards, your personal guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit some of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx, and the Valley temple facing the great statue. Enjoy the Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, and continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Al-Azhar Mosque and Khan el-Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. After a day rich in history, you’ll return to your hotel.

Day 9: Cairo

Enjoy a buffet breakfast in Cairo and then meet your personal guide who will accompany you on a tour of Islamic Cairo, it’s the area of the city which holds the most, the greatest and the most famous Islamic monuments. Many of these raised by the Fatimid caliphs who founded the city Cairo (preceded by Fustat or Old Cairo). Unlike Islamic quarters in other cities, people, often quite poor, continue to live by historic monuments and mosques. A huge, bustling center of worship, trade, shopping and commuting – it’s a must-see for any visitor. Discover the Citadel of Salah el Din, Al-Azhar Mosque Sultan Hassan and Khan el-Khalili Bazaars and much more.

Day 10: Cairo Airport – Home

Enjoy a buffet breakfast and after 9 memorable days, it’s time to return back to the US.  Our personal guide will arrange for our trip to the airport.
