Arrival to the Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE)

A professional assistant will welcome the group in the Arrival Terminal, showing a sign “Dar El Salam ” and will escort the people to the private taxis that will take them to the Bonvecchiati Venice Hotel. The assistant will also help the group for their check-in formalities.

11.00 Our English speaking authorized guide, will meet the group in the lobby of the  Hotel.

A portable tour guide headset will be given to each of the participants and the first part of the visit includes the visit of the Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), one of Europe’s most beautiful and easily recognizable buildings, was not only the center of government during the Venetian Republic but also the residence of the Doge. The Doge’s first palace was a wretched gloomy wooden fortress with massive defensive towers, and after several fires, the castle was converted into a Byzantine-style palace. The one the group will see during the visit was built mainly in the 14th century, and the façade overlooking the Piazzetta dates from the first half of the 15th century. The group will take the group to the Restaurant for their special lunch.

After the group break for lunch, the guide will meet the group for a nice walk to St. Marco Square, where they will visit the Basilica with the queue less entrance.

At the end of the visit, the group will have a nice walk through the small streets of Venice “the Calli”, to see the famous Ponte di Rialto, the Canal Grande, heading to S. Giorgio dei Greci, for a complete first visit of this “unique” City.

The tour will finish back to the hotel where the guide will say hello to the group.

09:00 Meeting with the guide to start the tour of the the Lagoon of Venice, a unique experience in a unique place.

The tour will start with the visit of Murano, well known all over the World, for their ancient techniques for the design and production of blown glass. The tour will continue with the visit of Burano, a fishermen village with colorful houses that are maintained as they were centuries ago.

15:30 The group will board on the traditional gondolas, for a 1 hour tour of the “Canali”.

16:30 Back to the Hotel and free time to relax and for personal activities.

08:30 Meeting with the assistant who will help the group to check out and to board on the 3 private taxis that will take them to the Tronchetto Bus Parking area

08:45 Boat transfer from the Hotel to the Tronchetto Area

09:00 Bus transfer from Venice Tronchetto to the Baglioni Florence Hotel in Florence. During the itinerary and if requested, the driver can stop on the motorway for a coffee or simply to stretch legs.

11:30 Arrival at Bologna and meeting with the local guide for a walking tour of the City Center

15:00 Bus transfer to Florence.

16:00 Arrival at the Hotel Bernini in Florence and check-in

09:30 Meeting at the Lobby of the Hotel with our professional English Speaking Guide, who will take the group for a walking tour of the City of Florence. During the itinerary, the guide will show the Basilica di Santa Croce.

10:00 The guide will take the group to the Uffizi, with the no queue entrance ticket. Visiting the Uffizi is an amazing journey through the history of painting.

The very first rooms introduce you to the 13th and 14th Century style: a name for all Giotto who deeply changed the way of painting religious subjects. You can then pass through the delicacy of the Sienese style of Simone Martini. The journey then continues towards the so-called International Gothic which plunges you into the fairy tale-like atmosphere of the courtly style of Gentile da Fabriano.

Keep on walking the group will “meet” Masaccio showing you the very first blossoms of the Renaissance. Keep on going: Botticelli, Leonardo, Michelangelo are there to be discovered. And then Raffello, Tiziano, Caravaggio and so many other masters will make the “journey” through the Uffizi Gallery a wonderful and unique experience.

At the end of the visit, the guide will take the group to the restaurant, with a nice walk through the city.

14.30 Meeting with the guide after lunch to continue to enjoy the city, visiting the Duomo (exteriors) and Palazzo Vecchio (inside).

During the walk, the group will see Piazza della Repubblica, place of the city’s forum and then of the city’s old ghetto, which was swept away during the city improvement works or Risanamento initiated during the brief period when Florence was the capital of a reunited Italy, work that also created the city’s avenues and boulevards.

09:00 Meeting with the English speaking guide who will escort the group on an exciting full day to visit two of the most important historical towns in Tuscany. History and traditions of two very similar cities, but with a different personality.

09:45 Visit of the City of Pisa, with its famous Piazza dei Miracoli, the Cathedral, and the incredible Leaning Tower.

Free time after the visit.

15:30 Arrival at Lucca, City of Art and Renaissance style, surrounded by walls, with its Churches, House Towers, and a Marvellous Noble Palazzo, to continue in the old town with typical shops in small towns.

19:00 Back to the hotel and free time to relax

08:30 Meeting with the local English Speaking Guide and transfer to the Vatican, to visit the Museum and the Galleries. The modern entrance built for the Jubilee 2000, the Galleries of the Chandeliers, of the Tapestries and of the Geographical Maps, the Sobiesky Hall and the Immaculate Conception Hall. The group will then stop to admire the Sistine Chapel frescoed by Michelangelo to end up in the Ancient Vatican Library and St Peter’s Basilica, example in Europe of horizontal stratification with works of art in different styles: Romanesque Medieval, Renaissance Baroque and Rococo.

14:00 City Tour by coach starting from Piazza Venezia with its impressive monument dedicated to King Victor Emanuel II and the Unknown Soldier you then continue on foot to the famous Piazza del Campidoglio designed by Michelangelo with a fantastic view of the Roman Forum. The coach will continue by the Circus Maximus and the Pyramid of Caius Cestius before arriving at the Basilica of St. Paul outside the walls* (visit inside).

10:00 Meeting with the guide to start the walking tour, to visit the magnificence of the Trevi Fountain, a masterpiece of the Baroque Rome, the Spanish steps, Piazza Navona , the Pantheon and all the areas and monuments that are well known all over the World.

15:00 The guide will bring the group for the visit to the majestic Coliseum, one of the grandest of all ancient Rome’s monument. The Coliseums’ imposing exterior immediately captures your eyes. Erected between 72 and 81 by the emperors of the Flavian family, a masterpiece of classical architecture, is an enormous Amphitheatre and it was designed for public spectacles and played host to many combats between gladiators
