Cusco visiting market place of “Pisac”
After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel at 9am for our outing to the Sacred Valley. You will be fascinated by the dress of the locals who can be seen wearing bold and colorful traditional clothing. Our first stop is at the market place of “Pisac”; here one is able to swap goods instead of using money. Then, we will enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch called Pachamanca in the small town known as Urubamba. After lunch, we will visit the citadel of “Ollantaytambo”, and then enjoy a guided tour of an Ancient Incan fortress. As your day comes to a close we will return to our hotel for some rest and relaxation.
Cusco visiting the citadel of Machu Picchu
After an early breakfast, we will head out to Ollantaytambo’s train station. We will board the Vistadome or Executive train to the small town of Aguas Calientes; then take a local bus to the citadel of Machu Picchu. We will enjoy a guided tour of this breathtaking 500 year old sanctuary that is still completely intact today! The surrounding view is simply spectacular and is sure to be a highlight of our vacation. At the end of the day, we will return to Cusco with wonderful memories and a camera full of snapshots from our exciting day in Machu Picchu.
