We are proud to be in the business of Hajj and Umrah, and yes a big part of it is business. It involves an endless number of negotiations, contracts, money dealings, and deadlines. The part of the holy journey, which most don’t experience, and it is left to tour operators to handle.
All facets of both Hajj and Umrah are great sources of revenue to the Kingdom, and its citizens—Hajj revenues are expected to exceed $150bn by 2022.
The Saudi government does a phenomenal job offering a variety of services to pilgrims arriving from all corners of the globe, with different educational backgrounds, speaking hundreds of languages. These services are offered to tour operators through the Hajj Ministry, and affiliated organizations. As tour operators, we negotiate and compete for different levels of services; we must negotiate every little detail, including the colors of bathroom tiles.
To those little details, we pay the most attention. We are adamant about giving you the best Hajj and Umrah experience. In those little details, we excel. We make sure that our pilgrims ride the most comfortable buses as they travel between cities. We negotiate with the best airlines available to provide you with confirmed seats during the busiest times of the year. We book rooms in luxurious hotels, within close proximity to the Haramain. As in most businesses, location does matter, and that is why we choose a prime location for our Mena and Arafat camps. In Mena, we are one of the closest camps to the Jamarat bridge. We are also close to the tunnels leading to our apartment building in Aziziah, and we have a shuttle service available to the hujjaj to travel between the two. In our camps, we maximize the space available to provide you with a comfortable and luxurious stay in tents. We build the bathrooms ourselves, from the ground up.
Customer service is one of our core values, and that is why our local staff in the kingdom is available to assist our clients the second they step foot in one of the Kingdom’s airports, until they depart for their trip home. Aside for the logistical assistance, we go to great length to partner with some of the most knowledgeable Imams in North America, United Kingdom, and other parts of the world to provide the spiritual guidance, and while adding an educational value to the journey.
During the Hajj season, we face many challenges, which can sometimes jeopardize every aspect of our operation. A few years ago, the Hijri date was changed, and the change caused many booking cancellations—hotels, and airlines—and many ended up sleeping on the streets of Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah. We leave nothing to chance; we had a contingency plan that was acted on, and we booked rooms in Jeddah, at no extra cost to any of our clients.
There are many examples to illustrate the ways in which we are willing to go above and beyond to provide you with an experience and memories that will last a lifetime. We take care of every detail so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We want our clients to enjoy their time in the holiest of cities and accomplish their spiritual goals. We understand the clarity needed to embark on such holy pilgrimage, and we provide the tools that eliminate any hurdle.
Like the majority of you, we follow in the footsteps of Prophet Mohamed Pbuh who said: “None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.” And we love for you to experience the holy cities the way our president had envisioned it. And following the prophet’s tradition, which encouraged both commerce and serving others, we are in the business of Hajj and Umrah to serve the guests of Allah in Makkah, and Madinah. We are doing it providing our Muslim brothers and sisters with beautiful, exotic, and fulfilling gateways into the Islamic history in all parts of the world. We are in the business of providing an exquisite and exceptional experience, and we are not sorry for costing more than most while giving you an experience that most can’t give.
In following the words of Allah Swt, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]”, we want to first thank the almighty for all the blessings we were given. We also wish to thank all of you who gave us the opportunity to serve you as guests of the almighty. We thank you for over thirty years of success and growth.
